The FDA has announced plans to study how consumers and medical professionals are affected by deceptive and misleading information in drug ads. The FDA has said that there hasn’t been much research into how well consumers and medical professionals are able to identify deceptive drug promotion. The FDA plans to conduct two studies to determine how deceptive information affects the public.
