Lupin launches generic Exforge tablets In US

Pharma Major Lupin Limited announced that its US subsidiary, Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc, has launched its Amlodipine and Valsartan Tablets, 5 mg/160 mg, 10 mg/160 mg, 5 mg/320 mg and 10 mg/320 mg, which are the AB rated generic equivalent of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation’s Exforge® tablets 5 mg/160 mg, 10 mg/160 mg, 5 mg/320 mg and 10 mg/320mg strengths, following final FDA approval. Lupin’s Amlodipine and Valsartan Tablets is the combination tablet of Amlodipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker (DHP CCB) and Valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). Lupin’s Amlodipine and Valsartan tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension and to lower blood pressure:
