Senators Ask If Mylan Engaged In a Pay For Delay Scheme


Several US Senators, along with the Consumer Union, are asking if Mylan engaged in a “pay for delay” scheme. In such a scheme, Mylan would have paid Teva Pharmaceuticals in order to delay Teva’s production of a generic version of Mylan’s branded EpiPen product. The Consumer Union is asking the Federal Trade Commission to prompt a federal review of Mylan’s actions.
